   Ingredients:

   The Garnier White Complete Multi Action Fairness Cream comes packaged with an outer cardboard cubical box with a white and yellow color scheme with all the product information printed on it. The cream is contained in a white cylindrical light weight, sturdy and attractive pot and is provided with a white colored screw cap. May cause hygiene issues as the cream has to be removed from the pot by dipping fingers into it.
   The cream is white in color and well blended, light and airy in texture. It has a mild, pleasant fragrance similar to the one in the Garnier White Complete Fairness Face Wash which can't really be made out once the cream has been applied. A small amount of the cream is enough to cover the entire facial skin. The cream gets well absorbed on rubbing in circular motion and does not leave a whitish unnatural looking cast on face. It feels light on the facial skin, does not make it sticky and moisturizes it well without leaving any patches of dry skin. It gives an instant glow and a fresh appearance to the skin, making it appear a bit fairer. It does not cause my combination type skin to appear excessively oily or break out. The SPF 19 PA +++ in it makes it perfect for day time application by preventing skin damage from sun rays. It also helps in fading pigmentation spots and improves the skin tone making it look clearer and fairer with regular use.

Hence I am always on the lookout for different face washes in search of the ones which suit my skin perfectly. It is provided with a foil seal on mouth of the tube for an additional protection from leakage. It is slender and compact in packaging making it very travel friendly. It is imprinted with the logo of the brand and the name of the product on its front side while the product claims, directions for use, ingredients, price, shelf life, etc. are printed on the back.
   The face wash is nice and thick in consistency, not runny at all. It has a mild scent which disappears soon after the face is washed and does not linger. A small amount creates sufficient lather to cleanse the facial skin and get rid of all the dirt, grime and traces of light makeup. It is easy to rinse off and does not leave a creamy residue on the skin. It works well for people with oily skin type while for those with dry skin, it may cause dryness/flakiness which will have to be overcome with the use of a moisturizer. It refreshes the skin and makes it look radiant, clearer and a tad bit fairer, even though for a brief period of time. It helps in keeping my face oil free for hours on end and in the long run keeps the eruption of acne in check.
   Also, it is pretty cost effective and is easy available across the nation.

Product Review - Garnier Pure Active Neem + Tulsi High Foaming Face Wash

   Garnier is launching a new product in their PureActive range, the Garnier Pure Active Neem + Tulsi High Foaming Face Wash, and I along with a handful of other bloggers got to use it well in advance before it gets available in the market. Sharing a detailed review of the same below. Let's see how it fares.

   Product Information:

   The Garnier Pure Active Neem + Tulsi High Foaming Face Wash comes in a see through, tall and thin bottle and is provided with a green colored sturdy flip cap. It is leak proof and very travel friendly. It is provided with all the important information about the product printed on the front and the back labels. It's back label can be peeled from the side to reveal the usage instructions and ingredients.
   The face wash is light green in color and is a bit on the runnier side in consistency. It has a pleasant scent to it which somehow reminds me that of Dettol. A tiny drop of the product is enough to produce enormous amount of lather to cleanse the face well and get rid of dirt, oil and traces of light makeup, all while providing a nice cooling sensation. The face wash does not leave a creamy residue and is easy to rinse off. Though it does not strip the skin of it's natural moisture, it is not hydrating enough to be used without supplementation of a moisturizer and may cause dryness/flakiness, especially for those with combination to dry skin types. That being said, it does the job of keeping my skin from getting oily for hours on end and has reduced the number and severity of acne breakouts since I've started using this product.
   A great price for money and easy availability across the nation is a big plus!

- Has a mild, pleasant fragrance.
- A really small amount is enough to cleanse the face.
- Exuberantly foaming formula.

- Does not form a creamy layer on the skin.
- Does not strip skin of its natural moisture.
- Keeps face oil free for hours on end.
- Reduces acne breakouts.
- Easily available across the country.
- Optimally priced.

   Cons:
- Thinner in consistency than what I usually prefer.
- People with combination to dry skin type might experience dryness or flakiness and will have to supplement the face wash's usage with that of a moisturizer.

   Verdict: 4.25/5. A great budget buy to cleanse the skin and keep it oil free for hours, especially suited for people with oily to combination skin type.

   The Garnier Triple Nutrition Range of products come in melon - yellow colored bottles which bear the name of the products along with all the pertinent information about them. A flip cap is attached to the mouth of the bottles for dispensing the product which is quite sturdy like the packaging material as it did not break or cause leakage even after falling on the floor on multiple occasions from my slippery hands!
   Both the shampoo as well as the conditioner have a subtle, pleasing fragrance which lingers for some time even after hair is rinsed thoroughly with water. Consistency-wise though the shampoo is thinner than the conditioner, it is not runny. The shampoo has a creamy - white appearance while the conditioner is more of curdy white in color.
   When it comes to actual usage of the product, both the products work effectively even when only a tiny amount of the product is used. The shampoo lathers abundantly and cleanses hair of all the oiliness and grime and is easy to rinse off. A single cycle of shampooing is more than enough for people who wash their hair daily or on alternate days while those who take a head bath less frequently or those who have oil their hair prior to the head bath would require 2 -3 cycles of shampooing.
   The conditioner though a little tedious to wash off completely, does the job of detangling the hair way better than most of the conditioners I've tried till date even with just a few minutes of application and makes hair very soft and smooth to touch.
   Hair appears softer, smoother, shinier and more lustrous even after a single use of the combo and is more manageable than before! After repeated use, slight reduction in amount of hair fall is seen with an end result of a more nourished and healthier looking mane!

   Pros: 
- Sturdy, travel and user friendly packaging.
- Exquisite lingering fragrance.
- An almost perfect consistency.
- A little amount goes a long way.
- The shampoo lathers abundantly and acts as a good cleanser.
- The conditioner detangles hair well.

   Cons:
- Rinsing off the conditioner is a little tedious.
- Weighs down hair if the conditioner is not washed off properly.
- Presence of SLES and other sulphates as core ingredients.

   Verdict: 4.75/ 5. Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition surely made my hair happier than they were before! It completes it's promise of nourishing and strengthening hair from scalp, through lengths to tips, leaving hair strong, nourished, shiny and manageable and gets a big thumbs up from me!

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition - Happy Hair Challenge

    Who doesn't love challenges and especially those which bring forth a positive change!! So when I heard about the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition - Happy Hair Challenge, which requires me to use the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition range for a period of 30 days and blog about how it works for my hair, I enrolled myself for it right away!
   Though I am pretty content with the haircare products I was using until now, I couldn't be happier to have the opportunity to try out the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner as I have used it previously and had quite liked how it made my hair feel and look like.

   My hair concerns:
   My hair woes started when I had to leave Mumbai for educational purpose to stay in a town where only hard water was available for bathing. That along with frequent to and fro train travels, between my home and hostel exposed my hair to sun damage and air pollution. This combined with consumption of not very nutritious mess food ultimately lead to thin, rough, dry, dull and lusterless mane. A few years ago I also started experiencing hair fall which over time reduced the density of my hair quite significantly! Also, I have a hereditary tendency of premature greying of hair which started manifesting itself since past 3 - 4 years. The only positives that I can think about my hair are that I never suffered much from split ends or frizzy hair.
   Now that I am back in Mumbai where I can take better care of myself, I have slowly but steadily overcome most of these hair woes. The ones which are still a major concern for me are:

- Reduced hair density with thin hair.
- Greying of hair.

- While the shampoo has more of an off-white color with a glossy look to it, the conditioner is curdy white and thicker in consistency.  

- Costing just Rs.135/- for a 175 ml bottle, the Triple Nutrition range definitely is easy on the pocket!

Product Review - Garnier Pure Active Real Neem Face Wash

   Ask people what their biggest skincare problem is and the commonest answer you would get would be acne or pimples - as they are known in layman language. These pesky little buggers are commonly seen once a person hits their pubertal phase of life due to the increase in hormonal levels of testosterone. In addition to hormones, bacterial infections, certain medicines, stress, excessive oiliness of skin, clogged pores and unhealthy eating habits are some other causes of acne.

It is translucent green in color, a bit runny in consistency and has a mild neem fragrance which disappears as soon as face is rinsed with water. It lathers abundantly and gives a cooling sensation when applied. It cleanses the skin removing all dirt, oiliness and evidence of light makeup quite well but leaves behind a creamy residue on the skin which takes time to rinse off. Though it does not dry the skin it is not hydrating enough to keep my combination type skin from flaking around the corners of my mouth and small portions of my cheek. It makes my skin feel refreshed and keeps it oil free for around 6 hours. It works very well on acne prone skin and reduces the number of acne eruptions considerably! It is easily available across the country and costing just Rs. 90/- for a 100 g tube makes it quite cost effective as well.

   A Beauty Benefit(BB) Cream is a product which unifies the goodness of many product in one like keeping the skin well moisturized, protecting it against UV rays, delaying aging, soothing, priming, concealing, etc. depending upon its contents.
   Today I am reviewing the Garnier BB Cream, one of the first BB Creams to be launched in the Indian market.

A miracle you can instantly feel and see on your skin!

   The Garnier BB Cream comes in a handy tube with a nozzle like opening. The cream is thinner compared to most BB creams in the market and has a mild fragrance. It is easy to apply and blends well into the skin. The cream provides an instant and natural glow to the skin, hiding light blemishes and fine lines and making it appear more even and clearer. It does not cause drying of the skin or make it appear chalky. No additional sunscreen is required as it contain SPF 24. I have a combination skin type whom it tends to make it oily earlier than normal and would suit better for people with dry skin. It's biggest limitation is the fact that it is available in just a single shade which suits people with a wheatish complexion only. 

   Pros:
- Packaged in a sleek little tube which is easy to carry.

- Slightly thinner consistency compared to other creams in the market, but not runny!

- Blends easily into the skin.
- Small pea sized amount is enough to cover the entire face well.
- Provides light coverage to hide pigmentation and redness and even out the complexion.

- Hides fine lines to a certain extent.
- Does not make the skin look chalky.

- Has a mild fragrance, which isn't bothersome.

- One of the most cost effective BB creams available in the market.
