Product Review - Garnier BB Cream

   A Beauty Benefit(BB) Cream is a product which unifies the goodness of many product in one like keeping the skin well moisturized, protecting it against UV rays, delaying aging, soothing, priming, concealing, etc. depending upon its contents.
   Today I am reviewing the Garnier BB Cream, one of the first BB Creams to be launched in the Indian market.

   Product Claims: For an instant "perfect skin" - BB Cream combines derivative of Vitamin C known for its antioxidant and brightening properties with mineral pigments to help visibly unify your skin.
A miracle you can instantly feel and see on your skin!

For skin care that instantly and effectively helps make your skin perfect, which is:

- Even Toned.
- Moisturized.

   Volume: 18 g.

   Shelf Life: 36 months.

   How to apply: Spread the BB Cream like your regular moisturizer. Apply with light circular strokes from the middle of your face outwards on perfectly cleansed skin.

   The Garnier BB Cream comes in a handy tube with a nozzle like opening. The cream is thinner compared to most BB creams in the market and has a mild fragrance. It is easy to apply and blends well into the skin. The cream provides an instant and natural glow to the skin, hiding light blemishes and fine lines and making it appear more even and clearer. It does not cause drying of the skin or make it appear chalky. No additional sunscreen is required as it contain SPF 24. I have a combination skin type whom it tends to make it oily earlier than normal and would suit better for people with dry skin. It's biggest limitation is the fact that it is available in just a single shade which suits people with a wheatish complexion only. 

   Pros:

- Slightly thinner consistency compared to other creams in the market, but not runny!

- Blends easily into the skin.
- Small pea sized amount is enough to cover the entire face well.
- Provides light coverage to hide pigmentation and redness and even out the complexion.
- Gives a healthy, bright and natural glow to the face.
- Hides fine lines to a certain extent.
- Does not make the skin look chalky.
- Does not make the skin feel dry.
- Has a mild fragrance, which isn't bothersome.
- Provides UVA/UVB protection with SPF 24.
- One of the most cost effective BB creams available in the market.
- Easily available across India.

    Cons:
- For people with oily skin type, it causes skin to become oily after a few hours of application.
- Available in only one shade in India, so may not suit everyone.
- Does not cover dark blemishes or pigmentation.

   Verdict: 3.75/5. 

   To summarize, the Garnier BB Cream is perfect to provide an instant natural glow to the face for people with a dry skin type with mild/moderate pigmentation who do not require much concealing.
